Wow. Just standing outside NESTA finishing a phone call, and just seen a group of 7 kids cut and steal a bike *right in front of me*
I shouted at them, and they dropped the cutters, but only for a second. Then they finished cutting the lock and rode off.
NESTA security got them all on CCTV. Whole thing was very brazen and bizarre, though. Should I have done more to stop them than just shout?

Second day off, pottering about. Very glad to be at home relaxing in the sun, rather than listening to Carter at the Changing Media summit.
1st day of two days off to loaf around at home. Couldn’t have picked a better day- sunny, gorgeous and chilled in Hove.
